Andrew Zemek,
Chief Executive
An economist by training, Andrew has been involved with the metals and mining
industry for over 27 years. For nearly 9 years he worked in the London office
of the Polish copper producer KGHM Polish Copper Ltd initially as a copper
trader and eventually as Managing Director. He is familiar with concentrate
and refined metal trading and used to teach metal price hedging techniques
on commodity courses. Before joining Angus & Ross plc in April 2005 he
was a director in the London office of Norwest Corporation - a mining consultancy
with headquarters in Calgary and Salt Lake City. He is a former Chairman of
the Association of Mining Analysts in London. Andrew is also the Chief Operating
Officer of Angus & Ross plc.
Paul Williams, Finance
Director and Company Secretary
Paul is Finance Director of Angus & Ross. A graduate of Cambridge University,
where he read modern languages and economics, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant
and a member of both the London Stock Exchange’s AIM Advisory Group and
North West Regional Advisory Group. A former director of Maelor plc with extensive
experience of corporate governance. Paul is also the Finance Director of Angus & Ross
plc.
Robin Andrews
In 1997, Robin established Angus & Ross, the holding company of Black Angel
Mining Ltd and as Chairman oversaw its initial growth and listing on AIM. He
became acting Chief Executive in 2002 to drive through the repositioning of the
Company as a diverse mining and exploration group. He brings extensive experience
of financing both resource companies and projects. He began his business career
as an investment analyst with de Zoete & Gorton in London before spending
30 years in investment banking with AE Ames, James Capel and Mead & Co. Robin
graduated from Edinburgh University having studied civil engineering and economics.
Robin is also the Chairman of Angus & Ross plc.
Dr. Bob Dowdell
Robert (Bob) Dowdell is a Chartered Mining Engineer and has a PhD in Rock Mecahnics
from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, England. He has over 35 years of
mining experience, mostly in zinc/lead mining. In the past he worked for nearly
20 years for Cominco, the previous owners of the Black Angel mine, and in 1985

Malcolm Swallow
Malcolm is a mining engineer with over 26 years of experience of building
and operating mines. During the heyday of the Black Angel mine he
worked for Cominco and analysed its UK-controlled operations (Black
Angel, Greenland; Rubiales and Troya, Spain; Eland, SW Africa). He
is familiar with arctic mining having worked for the Canadian Zinc
Corporation on its Prairie Creek zinc mine in the North West Territories;
he has also worked in zinc mines in Ireland. Malcolm has made a study
of pillar recovery methods and has considerable experience of revewing
new mine development plans. Malcolm is also a non-executive director
of Angus & Ross plc.
